As a mom, an expecting mommy, and a business owner it is always nice to find organizations that you can connect with. I feel very lucky to have gotten to know a fairly new organization in our town called Bump in the Road. (http://www.durangobumpintheroad.com) Bump in the Road is an organization based in Durango, CO that provides support, education, and resources for women traveling the path of parenthood. A Bump in the Road welcomes expectant mothers, new mothers, and women considering having children. They offer Pre-Natal/Pre-Conception Groups, Post-partum group, and Healthly Baby/Healthy mama group as well as educational talks and resources.
As a mom to a 3 1/2 year old, finding a group such as this is such a huge help, benefit, and life-line to all those crazy new mom questions. Whether you live in Durango or somewhere else, I encourage all moms to find a group that supports their needs and beliefs to support them in the journey of motherhood.
